The Turner Syndrome International Group (TSINT) invites bids to host the 11th International Turner Syndrome Societies Conference in 2030 or 2031.
Background
The 10th International Conference was recently hosted by the Turner Syndrome Society of Australia in April 2026 and was a wonderful event. As there were not enough representatives present from each group to hold a board meeting, the TSINT is now inviting bids to host the next conference.
Invitation to Bid
TSINT welcomes expressions of interest from Turner Syndrome societies worldwide that would like to host the next International Conference in 2030 or 2031.

Host Requirements
National societies considering a bid should take the following requirements into account:
Venue and Attendance
Facilities should be suitable for approximately 200 to 500 delegates.
Attendance may vary depending on the size of the host country’s national society. For example, the conference in Japan welcomed around 300 national delegates and 60 international delegates.
Accessibility and Accommodation
The conference should be accessible and welcoming for teens and adult women with Turner Syndrome, couples, parents, and families with young children.
A range of suitable, affordable accommodation should be available.
Childcare is desirable so that parents with young children can participate fully.
Programme Content
The programme should cater for adults, girls, and teens with Turner Syndrome, as well as parents of younger children, partners, siblings, and friends.
It should offer a balanced mix of scientific and medical content, practical information about day-to-day life with Turner Syndrome, and a concurrent social programme.
Conference Aims
The International Turner Syndrome Societies Conference aims to:
- bring people together from around the world;
- share experiences of treatment, support, and attitudes towards Turner Syndrome with one another and with medical professionals;
- encourage further research; and
- strengthen friendships among people living with Turner Syndrome and their families.
Support for Bidding Societies
The international committee, which includes representatives from previous host countries, is pleased to offer advice, guidance, and practical support to any Turner Syndrome Society considering a bid.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING BIDS
1 Your interest in hosting
Explain why your society would like to host the conference and include any relevant previous experience.
2 Practical arrangements
Provide key details such as the proposed venue, preferred dates, accommodation options, and childcare arrangements.
3 Funding
Set out your funding plan, including local sponsorship and/or registration fees. TSINT cannot provide conference funding, but practical support will be available and additional fundraising opportunities may be explored in the future.
4 Proposed programme
Describe the programme, including medical speakers, opportunities for members to exchange views, and any social theme or activities.

Key Dates and Voting
Bid deadline: Submit bids by 1st September 2026 to allow time for circulation to all groups before voting.
Voting: Each society recognized by TSINT has one vote.

Outcome Timeline
TSINT aims to notify the successful host country for the 11th International Turner Syndrome Conference (2030/2031) by 1st December 2026.
This timeline gives the host country ample time to plan the event.
